Morning Live, which is hosted by Michelle Ackerley, Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton, has been pulled from the air by the BBC for six weeks.

The break was announced during the latest instalment of the programme by Gethin, who said: "Morning Live is taking a break for a few weeks.

"We will be back on Monday, 1 September and 9:30am.

"Thanks for watching and thanks for getting involved.

"We'll see you very soon. Have a lovely summer."

The BBC presenter also went to Instagram to share: "We’ll be back soon!

"I’ve said it a lot, but it’s quite incredible how many of you not only watch, but also get involved with the show.

"Sharing your stories to help others. Will miss you and the gang! And dancing in the sun!"
