As Stanford Shopping Center continues to revamp its selection of eateries, the Palo Alto mall is gearing up to open a popular dumpling restaurant and an upscale Mediterranean restaurant from a world-renowned chef.   

The Bay Area’s Dumpling Time is slated to open its latest location at the upscale Peninsula mall in March, according to its restaurant website. Dumpling Time is among a collection of restaurants owned by Omakase Restaurant Group, which also operates Michelin-starred Niku Steakhouse and Michelin Guide-listed Omakase in San Francisco.

Dumpling Time has been on an expansion spree ever since opening its first restaurant in San Francisco in 2017, later unveiling more SF locations. It’s since opened locations in Berkeley,
