The endearing reason Berkeley's Top Dog wouldn't make food for College GameDay

The anticipation for ESPN’s “College GameDay” was clearly building throughout Berkeley on Friday morning ahead of the show’s first live broadcast from Cal’s campus. The show airs from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday, and fans can line up as early as midnight to get a prime spot to be seen on the show with their homemade signs, as is tradition for the traveling pregame program.

The fact that the Cal campus will be buzzing in the wee hours of the morning means that local food businesses are accommodating the die-hards, and even the ESPN hosts. According to ABC7 (KABC-TV), nearby Dream Fluff Donuts is supplying the entire ESPN crew with an order of 2,000 baked goods that will be picked up at 1:30 a.m.........
