Investigators examine the scene of a mass shooting Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, in Stockton, Calif.

Four people are dead and 10 more injured after a mass shooting at a banquet hall in Stockton. 

The attack happened shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday on the 1900 block of Lucile Ave., the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office said. The banquet hall was hosting a child’s birthday party at the time, Stockton Vice Mayor Jason Lee said. The victims included both children and adults, said Heather Brent, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office. Early indications “suggest this may have been a targeted incident,” Brent said during a news conference at the scene.

The shooter is still at large, and officials asked anyone with video footage to share it with police. Although authorities did not name the banquet hall, they said it is located at Thornton Road and........
