Even Brock Purdy's biggest haters are marveling at 49ers QB right now

After Brock Purdy put up another five-touchdown performance to lead the San Francisco 49ers to a massive win Sunday, even the quarterback’s biggest critics and haters can’t help but marvel at his torrid run.
Purdy tallied 303 passing yards and three passing touchdowns while also adding two rushing touchdowns to lead the 49ers to a thrilling 42-38 win over the Bears. The win not only keeps the 49ers’ shot at the NFC West division title alive, but also gives them a chance to earn the No. 1 seed in the conference, which would come with a first-round bye and the right to host at Levi’s Stadium all the way through Super Bowl LX.

Now, all across the football world, many of the same pundits who criticized Purdy the most suddenly sound like fans. LeSean McCoy, the former NFL running back and Fox analyst who now co-hosts a YouTube show with Emmanuel Acho, had been among the loudest critics of Purdy especially after backup quarterback Mac Jones played so well earlier in the season.
After Sunday, McCoy was contrite.
