For instance, BBC Wildlife Magazine featured an article with the headline, "Amazing New Penguin Discovered for First Time in Over 100 Years." And ScienceDaily offered: "Scientists Discover First New Penguin Species in More Than 100 Years." As a penguin enthusiast and philosopher of biology, I was intrigued. But I hate to be the bringer of bad news. It turns out that the news reported was quite exaggerated.
