Shared music experiences are dynamic. Or at least they are supposed to be. When we experience music, there is a connection between the music source and ourselves. This is especially true in "live" music experiences. There is interaction between the one providing the music and the one receiving it. The audience is just as important as the performer, with energy going back and forth. The performer thrives on the energy from the audience and, in return, the audience experiences a full mind, body, and soul aesthetic experience.
Any musician will tell you that they are "fueled" by the audience; not just the response of applause but the feeling and connection that the music creates between both entities. The musician and the audience are in concert (pun intended) with each other within the aesthetic experience.
