The Journey to Peace: A Leap of Faith and Inner Transformation
We are confronted with daily news about the conflicts that are playing out in Gaza, Ukraine, and other hot spots of conflict in the world. It poses the question of why peace is so elusive to achieve. At the heart of peace is the absence of and resolution of conflict between parties. Peace initiatives pervade our personal and business lives, as well as relations between nations. Achieving long-lasting peace requires a desire by both parties to negotiate, build trust, put themselves in the shoes of the other party, show respect, and communicate frequently.
In our personal lives, peace is commonly viewed as the resolution of conflicts, the mending of emotional wounds, and the restoration of harmony and balance in relationships. For true peace to occur, it is important to move beyond surface-level solutions.
