Should You Consider Play Therapy for Your Child?

Many parents worry that turning to play therapy might feel like an overreaction, especially if their child is not demonstrating major behavioral concerns. It is common for parents to wonder if seeking play therapy is “too much too soon,” especially when their concerns are just beginning to arise. There is also a misconception that play therapy is appropriate only when a child is in crisis or has experienced a traumatic event.
