This will be my last official column for the Annapolis Valley Register.
I have been sending off my thoughts to my editors Ashley Thompson and Jason Malloy for five years now, which is a goodly amount of time. The columns began around the start of the pandemic. And they will finish with this letter to you, my readers.
The musings from my brain have gone here, there and everywhere. It has been an experience not given to many. I have always taken it seriously and hope you have as well.
Having an imaginary reader out there has kept me in check. I have skirted the edge sometimes, but I always thought there would be someone who agreed with me or that I gave them food for thought.
We live in a perilous time. It feels like our country is living on the edge of a wicked razor blade. We have our........
