If you know any kids looking for something to do this summer break, the Artisans Centre Peterborough is offering youth art workshops every Tuesday until the end of August.

The workshops cater to three different age groups: kids aged four to seven, six to nine, and eight to 12-plus years. Each week features a new and unique craft and all materials are provided. 

The centre aims to use easy-to-source materials in all workshops, so participants can continue to practice the skills they’ve learned after the class is done.

The Artisans Centre Peterborough, in the lower level of Peterborough Square, is offering youth art workshops every Tuesday and free drop-in art activities for families on Wednesdays.

This week, on Tuesday July 28, the theme is Clay Creations. Workshop participants will learn basic sculpting techniques and work with polymer clay to create and decorate their own miniature art pieces.
