The visit, part of an intergenerational initiative by charity Friend in Deed, saw four residents from Brooke House Care Home arrive at Stoke Holy Cross Primary School in style, courtesy of the East of England Co-op Funeral Services.

Pupils greeted the visitors with a programme of songs before joining them for refreshments and conversation.
