Police use stinger to stop stolen car taken in village raid while owner was asleep
Police used a stinger to stop the Mini Cooper after it was spotted being driven on Plumstead Road in Norwich, three hours after being taken during a break-in in Shotesham All Saints around ten miles away.
The owner was alerted that something was amiss just after midnight on June 6 when her dog started barking.
She discovered thieves had used bolt cutters to force their way into her home and had stolen her handbag and car keys.
