Games thief avoids jail AGAIN despite being back stealing within weeks
Paul Carruthers, 43, was handed another get out of jail card despite having 90 previous offences - many of them for thefts.
Appearing at Norwich Magistrates’ Court he pleaded guilty to three counts of shop theft including stealing electronic games from Athena Games in St Gregory's Alley that he then sold for £160 at secondhand store Cex.
The thefts came just a month after he had been handed an 18 month community order and warned further offending would leave “no option but custody”.
