Woman with condition that made walking painful takes on London half marathon
Francesca Davey, a physiotherapist from Diss, underwent a hip replacement six years ago at 24 and is now gearing up for the April 12 challenge.
She aims to support the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals (NNUH) charity, where she was treated as a child.
Francesca’s hip dysplasia, a condition affecting the hip joint or socket formation, was not identified until she was three years old.
This led to numerous corrective surgeries and procedures performed at NNUH.
