Latitude rapper jailed after 'revenge' knife and hammer attack on couple
Rutendo Matsika attacked Craig Herron and his wife Adrienne with a knife, hammer and pole outside their home in Costessey, on the outskirts of Norwich.
Matsika, who performs as Coll, previously lived in Earlham and attended City College Norwich after moving to the city in 2009.
Rutendo Matsika (Image: Newsquest) Norwich Crown Court heard Matsika, 32, had gone to Blackhill Wood Lane in Costessey on August 24 last year to carry out the attack as part of a long-running feud.
Matsika - whose partner is Mrs Herron's sister - had something of a grudge against Mrs Herron and they did not like each other.
Two days before the attack, Matsika had been confronted by Mr Herron at the Norwich South Recycling Centre during a chance encounter and an argument broke out.

Having "stewed and ruminated" over the argument, Matsika then paid the couple a visit armed with a knife and hammer - as his wife called her sister to warn them he said he would "kill them".
Mr Herron had armed himself with a pole as he waited for Matsika to arrive.
But having arrived at their address, Matsika - whose eyes were full of "anger and pure evil" - stabbed Mr Herron twice in his side with a knife.
Mr Herron fell to the ground and his wife "ran out to protect her husband" but was struck in the head by Matsika with the pole.
Although Mr Herron tried to get to his feet, he was then struck in the head by a claw hammer by Matsika "sending him back to the ground".
One of Mr Herron's teenage son's came out but was told to go back inside following the attack.
