A bid to transform an unused commercial space in Pablo Fanque House at All Saints Green was approved by City Hall.

Under the scheme, the 244 students living at the site will get a gym as well as a TV and music rooms.

Student Castle Property Management Services who put the bid forward said the change would have little impact on the area.
