There are still five days until the big day, but it seems one shop in Norwich is already preparing to mark his death and resurrection.

Poundland in St Stephens Street has started putting chocolate Easter eggs and rabbits on its shelves alongside the reindeer and Christmas crackers.

Mini Eggs, Creme Eggs and Maltesers Bunnies are among the items on sale in the discount chain’s “any two for £3” deal.
