The forever-loved floating restaurant which closed after 34 years
We are, of course, talking about the floating restaurant, a traditional Dutch barge that was brought over from Amsterdam to Norwich by the Kemp Family in 1986.
The restaurant's first incarnation's menu featured European fare, and customers enjoyed dishes such as grills and steaks throughout its fledgling years.

At the time, the Riverside area was dominated by the railway station, car parks and engineering firms, making the restaurant even more of a novelty.
