Broom used to rescue bird of prey after first flight from Norwich Cathedral
The "improvised and unconventional method" proved to be a "gentle" way of guiding the peregrine falcon chick to safety.
The bird, currently nesting on the cathedral's spire, took to the skies for the first time at about 6.40pm on Wednesday.
