Norwich Theatre Royal, Theatre Street, Norwich, NR2 1RL

Explore the heritage of Norwich Theatre Royal with a history talk, archival displays, and a backstage tour of the 1930s auditorium. Join the team as they pull back the curtain, revealing the heritage of the building with an exciting history talk. You’ll be able to see a display of archival posters, programmes and playbills and have the opportunity to tread the boards backstage.

Built in 1702, for ‘decayed’ fishermen, these splendid almshouses are at the north end of the marketplace. Visitors can explore one of the cottages and join special presentations on the history of the buildings at 11am and 2pm each day it is open.
