Norfolk pub group expanding with first Suffolk venue
Goldthorpe Pubs, which runs The Boars in Spooner Row, The King's Head in New Buckenham, The Cellar House in Eaton and The Belle Vue in Norwich, has taken on the former Le Roc in Southwold.
"We are expanding again," announced Simon Turner, who owns the Goldthorpe Pubs brand with his wife, Jenny.

"Southwold is a very important place in our lives and I have always wanted to open an independent venue in the town.
"We are taking over the site that was Le Roc and looking to open the week commencing May 11.
"It will be called Salt Shore."
Le Roc closed in March after 12 years under the ownership of Gerard Amiel
It has already been a big year for the pub group, with the pair officially buying The Boars property in Spooner Row after seven years running the site.
They reopened the Belle Vue at the end of 2024 after taking on The Cellar House that same year.
