This weekend, a Gladiators star officially opened the UK's longest outdoor tubing slide as thousands of families turned out for launch day at Roarr!.

Thousands of visitors descended on the Lenwade venue on Saturday, as TV star Matty Campbell – also known as Bionic – officially opened the dinosaur-themed park's spectacular new ride, Fossil Falls.

The excitement began long before anyone reached the top of the slide, with plenty of anticipation building as visitors queued to try the park’s newest attraction.

But once it was their turn, the wait was absolutely worth it.

The ride itself is enormous fun.
