Bill Borrett, a Conservative member of Norfolk County Council, previously also served on the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB).

His role saw him act as the county council's lead elected representative on the board, the body responsible for commissioning NHS services in the region.

In this role, he also chaired the integrated care partnership, the influential committee which makes decisions on health and social care projects.
