Ambulance delays left 101-year-old on floor for eight hours before death
Edward Suffling died on December 15 last year, just three weeks before he had been due to move into an assisted living home.
The centenarian from Norwich had managed to live independently throughout his life, but was set to move into supported accommodation on January 6.
But on the morning of December 14, he "slipped" out of bed and was discovered on the floor by his sister-in-law, Norfolk Coroner's Court was told.
Emergency services were called at around 10.45am.........
