Robin Sainty, chairman of the Canaries Trust, said the abuse had become so severe that an order was issued preventing an individual from contacting him or other trust members, directly or indirectly.

However, the leader of the independent non-profit organisation for 12 years claims the barrage has continued through emails and disparaging online comments.
