City folk frustrated as May council elections thrown in doubt
They say any delays to the voting, which are due to take place in May, would be undemocratic and some questioned whether Norwich's Labour-led council is afraid of being booted.

The council remains tight-lipped over whether it will continue with the elections or ask the government if they can be postponed in light of local government reorganisation - which would see all Norfolk's councils scrapped and replaced.
It comes as the government said it would consider requests from councils with "genuine concerns" about carrying out elections in 2026 to delay them.
Paul Regester, 61, said: "Delaying them sends the community the wrong message.
"It's more about the fact they know they are not very popular.
"If it's a local election, you should let the people crack on with it and if they lose, well that's just democracy."
