Luxury Leisure, which manages the Admiral casino on St Stephens Street, is proposing remove a time restriction which states it can only operate between 7am and 2am.

The restriction was put in place after Luxury Leisure won an appeal against Norwich City Council's decision to refuse a two-hour extension in its hours.

In November 2023, the council ruled the proposals would negatively impact neighbours and the extended opening hours would be "out of character or scale" within the retail area.
