MP hails plan for 10,000-home new town in his constituency as 'excellent'
Ben Goldsborough, South Norfolk MP, has thrown his support behind the contentious proposal - with his constituency in the running to get a new town under plans by the Labour government.

Speaking in the House of Commons, Labour MP Mr Goldsborough said: "The housing crisis is an issue in not just our city centres but our rural communities.
"A new town would be excellent for our area of south Norfolk.
"It would help tackle our local housing crisis and ensure that we could deliver affordable housing for local people, where they need it."
Prime minister Sir Keir Starmer, as part of his government's growth agenda, wants to see new towns built.
