Council ordered to pay mother £2,200 after son missed term and a half of education
Norfolk County Council was criticised by watchdogs for its failure to meet its legal duties over the boy, who has autism.
In 2024, the boy's mother had taken the council to a tribunal about his education health and care plan.

That plan is a formal acknowledgment of a child's special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), which lay out the support they need.
