Norfolk County Council leaders are to make the request after complaints about a lack of clarity at some stops during recent roadworks.

The matter was raised by Chrissie Rumsby, Labour county councillor for Mile Cross, at a recent meeting of the Conservative-controlled cabinet at County Hall.

She said: "Road works inevitably lead to bus diversions, but nobody takes responsibility for making sure passengers don’t wait for buses at closed stops.

"Without notices at every stop out of use and information on temporary stops, some poor souls finish up innocently waiting in all weathers for........
