Tonight's meeting will be restricted to officials of Wymondham Town United Football Club (WTUFC), who will discuss matters including the club's accounts and the election of officers.

Members say it comes after calls for an extraordinary general meeting over concerns surrounding WTUFC were ignored.

Parents who pay subscriptions of £25 a month for their children to play at 400-strong WTUFC say they have a right to have a say over the running of the Kett's Park-based club.

But its secretary Mark Walker has sent an e-mail saying only team officials will be able to attend the meeting at Wymondham Rugby Club.
