But at Broadland Business Park, on the edge of Norwich, finding a space has become such a challenge that some firms say it’s costing them customers and even forcing them out.

Companies based there claim the shortage of spots is causing a drop in footfall across the site.

Although the sprawling estate – home to around 33 businesses – is connected by around a mile and a half of roads, many are covered with double yellow lines.
