Norfolk council criticised for 'wasting money' on fighting shake-up
Deborah Sacks, leader of the Labour group at South Norfolk Council, says the Conservative-run authority should focus on improving local services, rather than challenge local government reorganisation (LGR).
And she has criticised the decision to hold discussions around the future of the Norfolk council in private, claiming the public should know the principles for the legal fight.
Ms Sacks said: “The legal advice should be kept confidential but the exact principles of the challenge should be a public matter.”
