Norwich dad's marathon journey for daughter who survived three open-heart surgeries

Dan Mann, 35, who admits he “hates running,” is aiming to complete the London Marathon on Sunday, April 27.

He says the challenge isn’t about setting a personal best, it’s about giving back to the children's hospital that saved the life of his daughter, Ruby.

Dan is running to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), where Ruby, now six, underwent three open-heart surgeries after being born with a serious congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot.
