115-year-old pork pie producer rescued from administration by Norfolk food firm

Lincolnshire food manufacturer George Adams went into administration last month, resulting in the loss of 42 jobs.

But the brand’s non-physical assets, including its trademark, recipes and intellectual property, have now been bought by Bunwell-based Finedale Foods, with production set to resume in the coming weeks.

George Adams began in 1910, serving up quality meats and handmade pork pies from a butchers in Spalding.
