Bangladeshi radicals 'aided by local leaders' involved in Murshidabad violence: Intel report
New Delhi: Bangladeshi radicals were involved in the recent Murshidabad violence sparked by the agitations of the anti-Waqf Amendment Act in West Bengal, according to sources who attributed it to an intelligence report.
According to a report by news agency PTI, sources quoted an intel report, revealing that two Bangladesh-based radical organisations – Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and Ansarullah Bangla Team (ATB) – were allegedly involved in the violence witnessed in the West Bengal district, claiming three lives thus far.
The Bangladeshi miscreants are said to have the assistance of local leaders of a political party.
