Bangladesh thrash Pakistan to begin women's World Cup campaign in style
New Delhi: Bangladesh started off their campaign in a dominant fashion after thrashing Pakistan by seven wickets in their ICC Women’s World Cup opening match in Colombo on Thursday. Chasing a paltry target of 130 runs, Bangladesh (131/3) completed it with ease in just 31.1 overs.
Opener Rubya Haider top-scored for the side with an unbeaten 54 off 77 balls while Sobhana Mostary remained not out on 24. Nigar Sultana also contributed in the easy chase with 23 runs while rest of the two batters could not show up........
