Delhi University revises PG History curriculum, removes Delhi Sultanate from third semester
The paper which has been removed used to focus on how political authority and governance had shaped North India at the time of Delhi Sultanate. It also covered state formation and the political and cultural developments in the time of the 13th and 14th centuries.
New Delhi: In a major development, the Delhi University has revised hits post graduate history syllabus. The university has removed the paper, ‘The Delhi Sultanate: Structures of Authority in Medieval North India (13th–14th Century)’ from the third semester. Prepared in line with the Postgraduate Curriculum Framework 2024 and the National Education Policy 2020, the new curriculum will come into effect from July 2026.
