Bugatti’s Destrier is Bolide track car turned into rolling sculpture
Bugatti has reimagined the track-focused Bolide as a one-off from the brand. It is called the Destrier and it takes cues from Type 57, which served as the basis for both the race-winning Type 57G Tank and the iconic Type 57SC Atlantic.
New Delhi: The Bugatti Bolide was built to be a no-nonsense track machine. It had a 1,600hp engine with a lightweight construction of around 1,406kg, and a top speed of 380kph. However, Bugatti has now reimagined that hardcore platform into an entirely different creation.
Instead of going for outright performance, the brand has introduced the Bugatti Destrier, a one-off hypercar that places craftsmanship, design and exclusivity at the forefront.
