BMW F 450 R unveiled with 420 cc parallel twin; will come with four trims

BMW has unveiled the F 450 R replacing entry-level previously held by the G 310 R in BMW Motorrad’s Roadster range which has now been discontinued.

New Delhi: BMW Motorrad has revealed the new F 450 R. It is a street-focused naked motorcycle based on the same platform as the F 450 GS adventure bike. The new Roadster effectively comes in place of the entry-level slot. It was previously occupied by the G 310 R in BMW Motorrad’s Roadster range which has now been discontinued.

The BMW F 450 R uses the same 420cc parallel-twin engine as the F 450 GS and produces identical peak figures. It makes 48 hp at 8,750rpm and 43 Nm at 6,750rpm. The motorcycle also carries over the GS’s tubular steel........
