Pudukottai: The Vengaivayal case, which involves the mixing of human waste in an overhead water tank in Vengaivayal village, Pudukkottai district, has taken a new turn. The case, which was initially investigated by the police, was later transferred to the CB-CID due to the accused belonging to Scheduled Castes. Recently, the CB-CID police filed a chargesheet, naming three people from Scheduled Castes as responsible for the incident.
