Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu: The custodial death of 27-year-old Ajith Kumar, a temple guard from Madapuram in Sivaganga district, has triggered public outrage, with disturbing questions emerging about police brutality, possible high-level influence, and the mysterious role of two women—Nikita and Sivagami—whose complaint led to the fatal interrogation.

Ajith Kumar had been working as a security guard at the Pathirakaliamman Temple for the past three months. On June 27, he was questioned by police following a complaint filed by Nikita and her mother Sivagami, who alleged that jewelry worth 10 pounds had gone missing from their car.

According to reports, Nikita had handed over her car keys to Ajith—a man she barely knew—to park the vehicle while she visited the temple. Shockingly, the jewelry was left inside the car, raising immediate suspicions: Why would any woman leave valuables unattended and entrust the keys to a stranger?

During interrogation, Ajith was brutally beaten by the police, leading to his collapse. He was rushed to........
