Melting glaciers and Trump’s climate ‘leadership’

A new study has confirmed something we have known all along but have been ignoring, nevertheless. The world’s glaciers are melting at an alarming rate. The study, published in Nature journal, claims that glaciers lost 273 billion metric tons of ice every year on average since the onset of the millennium. In fact, the rate of glacier melt has surpassed records between 2019 and 2023, with an average loss of over 400 billion metric tons of ice each year. To put this in perspective, the amount of ice melting can fill three Olympic swimming pools every second.

But one needn’t worry. The world is safe under the leadership of the President of the world’s only remaining superpower. Climate ‘denier’ U.S. President Donald Trump has an impeccable track record on negating climate issues. The man believes and says that climate change is a hoax and pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Agreement. After all, it is easier to deny its existence than tackle the escalating global crisis.

Remember when the U.S. was part of a global climate effort? Yeah, that was cute.........
