New Delhi: Sending shockwaves throughout the music industry, Bengali vocalist Pratul Mukhopadhyay reportedly breathed his last on Saturday (February 15, 2025). It is being said that the renowned songwriter was 82 years old at the time of his tragic demise.

PTI quoted a senior official of the West Bengal health department as saying that Mukhopadhyay passed away following a prolonged illness. He was believed to be suffering from pancreatic ailments and other age-related health issues.

Mukhopadhyay was said to be undergoing treatment at the state-run SSKM hospital. The official further told the news agency that his condition did not improve even after surgery, adding that he died in........
