YSRCP’s Vijaysai Reddy resigns as Rajya Sabha MP, cites personal reasons
YSRCP leader YS Vijaysai Reddy submitted his resignation letter to Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankar on Saturday citing personal reasons.
Speaking to the media after his resignation as an MP, he said, “I resigned despite having three and a half years left in my term. Not only did I resign, I also decided to quit politics. The YSRCP won 151 seats in 2019. The party got 40 percent of the vote in the 2024 elections. Jagan is a very popular leader. My intention is that even if a thousand people like me leave, support for him will not go down. I explained........
