Hyderabad: The 24-hour countdown to the opening ceremony of 72nd Miss World pageant has begun. The ceremony will be held at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on May 10 from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

Contestants from over 116 countries will walk the ramp in the opening ceremony, for which rehearsals were held on Thursday evening at the Gachibowli stadium and will continue on Friday. So far, contestants from 111 countries reached the city.

Miss World Kristina Priskova, from Czech Republic, who won the prestigious title last year, also landed in the city this morning.
