New Delhi: Barcelona claimed their 15th Supercopa de Espana title in a thrilling, high-tempo final against Real Madrid in Jeddah. Despite a strong start from Madrid, who took the lead through Mbappe’s early goal, Barcelona responded with a dominant first-half performance, scoring four goals in just 30 minutes. Yamal, Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Balde all found the back of the net, putting Barca 4-1 up at the break.

The second half saw more drama, as Barcelona added a fifth goal through Raphinha’s second of the game, a superb run and finish set up by Casado. Real Madrid had their chances, including Rodrygo hitting the woodwork with a volley, but their hopes were dashed when Szczesny was sent off for a foul on Mbappe, leaving Madrid with just 10 men. Rodrygo did pull one back from a free-kick, but it was too late for Madrid to mount a serious comeback.

In the end, Barcelona’s relentless attacking play and clinical finishing earned them a well-deserved victory, handing Real Madrid their second loss to their rivals in just three years in this competition.
