New Delhi: The WWE Royal Rumble 2025 was expected to be one of the biggest in history, with top superstars like CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and a returning AJ Styles all vying for the chance to headline WrestleMania 41. But what no one saw coming was Jey Uso pulling off the upset of a lifetime, outlasting a stacked field, and eliminating none other than John Cena who was competing in his farewell Rumble to win the prestigious match.

Fans entered the night expecting Cena to make history by becoming only the second WWE Superstar after Stone Cold Steve Austin to win three Royal Rumble matches.

The 16-time World Champion, emotional from the start, was the clear favourite. But in the end, WWE pushed Jey Uso, one of the most popular superstars on the roster, to a career-defining moment, setting up his shot at Gunther (or will there be a curve-ball?) for the World Heavyweight........
