New Delhi: Newcastle United finally ended their long wait for silverware, beating Liverpool 2-1 at Wembley to win the Carabao Cup. It was their first major domestic trophy since lifting the FA Cup in 1955, and their first piece of silverware since the 1969 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup.
